- What Will You Do?
- Assist with the implementation of control, information, and inspection systems.
- Read and comprehend electrical-related materials such as schematics, one-line diagrams, plan drawings, and instrument installation and configuration data.
- Install the wiring, cabling, conduit, and electrical equipment.
- Install, maintain, and configure PLC hardware.
- Understand fundamental PLC ladder logic and be able to modify simple relay logic PLC programs.
- Understand and implement the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Follow the NFPA-70E Code and applicable PPE standards.
- Install, maintain, and program pressure, temperature, flow, and weight instruments.
Install, maintain, and set up servo motors. - More complex PLC ladder logic programming options include PID loop control, add-on instructions, and sequencers.
- The ability to alter and maintain machine vision systems.
- Tag Mapping to Azure
- All additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A graduate of a two-year post-secondary degree in Industrial Electricity, Controls, or Electronics, as well as successful completion of a structured apprenticeship program or a minimum of three years of closely relevant work experience, can be substituted for postsecondary education.
- Must be adaptable within the shift work schedule to accommodate manufacturing shutdowns, training courses, and emergency coverage.
You must be able to travel for training.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion.
